Paola is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). She has qualifications and experience in Psychology, Counselling and Organisational psychology. Paola obtained her bachelor’s in social sciences and psychology in Santiago, Chile (2005). Postgraduate diplomas, obtained between 2007 and 2009, related to modern childhood, sexuality and adolescent behavioural issues, using systemic family and school approach strategies. Later in 2011, Paola completed a Master of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University, gaining knowledge and experience in the criminal forensics area. In 2024 she completed further training to become an EMDR practitioner, assisting with complex trauma; and in 2026 she accredited as an eating disorder practitioner and a member of ANZAED. Paola has worked for government and non-government organisations, assisting people across the lifespan. She has worked with elderly people facing dementia, social isolation, lifelong traumas and end-of-life stages. She also works with young and adult people in crisis including suicidal and self-harming individuals, along with clients with neurodivergent disorders, anxiety and depression, eating disorders, trauma and behavioural concerns. Paola is an empathetic and compassionate psychologist who has seen many people’s lives changed and they are now living full and rich lives. Her approach is both practical and reflective, helping clients build clarity, resilience, and reconnection using therapeutic approaches such as Family-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Paola lived and worked across three continents; she is fluent in English and Spanish and is deeply attuned to the influence of culture, context, and identity in psychological healing

Anna

Anna is a General Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is currently completing her Clinical Psychology Registrar Program. She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), with additional postgraduate qualifications in Applied Behaviour Analysis and Human Services (Disability). Anna works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment difficulties, and has experience supporting individuals navigating life transitions, health-related challenges, and complex psychosocial stressors. She has worked across the lifespan and with people from diverse cultural backgrounds in hospital, mental health and community settings. Anna’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and person-centred. She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Behaviour Support strategies. Her work is grounded in helping clients build emotional awareness, self-compassion, and practical skills to manage distress and move toward meaningful, values-based change. Anna has a particular interest in animal assisted therapy and the human–animal bond, having focused her Master’s thesis on the psychological benefits of animal companionship for older adults. Prior to working as a psychologist, she spent many years in the disability sector and was also a professional dog trainer, running puppy preschool programs as a Delta-accredited trainer - experience that continues to inform her compassionate and strengths-based approach to care.

Callum

Callum is a Generally Registered Psychologist, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPI). Callum gained his Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Queensland, where he completed a research thesis on the relationship between pets and child empathy development. Following his graduation, Callum went on to complete further study in complementary fields to expand his clinical scope, including a Diploma of Nutrition and Certificate of Engaging in Behaviour Support Practices. Callum has a wealth of experience in the field of complex behaviour, meeting the NDIS capability requirements to be considered an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner. Callum works to implement a range of behaviour modalities in a client-centered, neurodiverse affirming, transtheoretical approach. Callum is skilled in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Callum is also trained in the delivery of role-play based "geek therapy" where tabletop role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons can be used as a safe and approachable practice space for the development of imporant skills and learning how to overcome challenges. Though our pups here at WAG lack the thumbs needed to roll dice, they are more than happy to get involved in inspiring your character creation and role-play decisions! Callum believes that when working with others, it is important to be able to share in the things that matter to them - and so he is constantly working to build on and broaden his understanding of not just the psychological challenges that clients face, but the parts of their life from which they draw meaning. He believes the therapeutic relationship is one of teamwork, meaning that both the navigation of set-backs and celebration of progress should be shared between client and clinician (and dog).

Aria

Aria is a general psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Clinical Registrar. Having completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical), he focuses on providing a supportive space for clients to work through their challenges. He believes that the heart of good therapy begins with a genuine, collaborative relationship. Aria enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan, supporting people of all ages as they navigate the various chapters and transitions of their lives. His therapeutic interests include supporting individuals through anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties. He utilises a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Aria strives to have an approach that is warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental, working collaboratively at a pace that feels safe for the individual. Outside of the clinic, Aria is an avid Manchester City fan, though he promises not to let any Premier League rivalries get in the way of a good therapy session.

Marie

Marie is a general psychologist registered with AHPRA, she completed her studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Marie works with adolescents and adults, and has experience working with neurodiverse individuals and the many complexities that come with it. She is also experienced working with anxiety, depression, adjusting to life changes, emotional intelligence, executive functioning challenges, self-concept, and social skills. Marie has extensive skills with performing assessments for Autism, ADHD, psychiatric disorders, and personality disorder, and can perform cognitive testing. Marie brings a relatable approach to therapy, strengthening client relationships through her genuineness and humour. She takes a person centered approach, and tailors her work to each individual, pulling skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Marie loves to include art to support her clients to express themselves in an abstract way, or just as a fun way to express themselves. She has also developed several of her own therapeutic tools to assist her in working with neurodiverse clients. If that isn't enough to convince you, Marie brings her cavoodle, Dogtor Henry, along to work with her. He's a happy and calm little man with the softest fur, who helps her engage with clients who find it difficult seeing a therapist. Henry also helps with therapeutic aspects such as perspective taking and diffusing the pressures of therapy.

Enna is a General Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). She completed a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Enna has also completed a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). Enna has experience working with children and parents through her career as a primary school teacher. She also enjoys working with adolescents and adults. With a mix of professional training and personal life experience, Enna works with anxiety, depression, stress, development, behavioural and emotional difficulties, parenting, life transitions, and self-esteem. Enna is aware that coming to therapy is not an easy decision and so she tries to create a warm and comfortable environment to work with you to obtain your goals. Enna focuses on a client centred approach and works at your pace. She uses aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and therapy using play.

Angelica utilises a person-centred therapeutic approach to assist individuals in identifying their strengths and navigating their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She provides a warm, genuine, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel validated and empowered. By highlighting their strengths and validating their experiences, Angelica supports her clients in overcoming challenges and achieving their goals. She takes great joy in seeing her clients grow and develop resilience. ​ Angelica believes that a strong therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist is essential for effective therapy. She applies an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic frameworks.

Madison is a Provisional Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology. During her postgraduate studies, Madison completed a research thesis exploring the underlying psychological mechanisms of depression in young adults, with a focus on alexithymia and early maladaptive schemas. Madison has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of community settings. Alongside her psychology training, she has worked in suicide crisis support and spent the past five years as a therapy dog handler and trainer, delivering animal-assisted wellbeing programs. These experiences have strengthened her ability to build genuine therapeutic relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and across all stages of life. Madison has a particular interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional and behavioural difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and neurodevelopmental presentations. She strives to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to work towards their goals at a pace that feels right for them. Her therapeutic approach is client-centred and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. Emily is a provisionally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA), currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology at La Trobe University.  Emily provides support for individuals across the lifespan and has a range of professional experience across residential and community settings, working with young people and adults. Emily brings an attachment-focussed lens to her work, focussing on being a consistent person in her client’s lives. She creates a safe and warm environment for clients that empowers them to make meaningful change. Emily values a collaborative and individualised approach, drawing on interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and motivational interviewing (MI).
